A REPORT ON THE ASSOCIATION OF CATHOLIC TEACHERS (ACT) IN THE NAVRONGO-BOLGATANGA CATHOLIC DIOCESE.

GREETINGS:

In the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, I bring you greetings from His Lordship Alfred Agyenta and all the faithful especially ACT Members in the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Catholic Diocese.

Following the need for quality education delivery in the Catholic Education Unit Schools within the Diocese, the idea of forming an association of Catholic teachers in the diocese to help identify committed Catholics and post them into our Catholic institutions was borne during an executive meeting of The Diocesan Association of Heads of Catholic Basic Schools.

A committee was immediately constituted to plan a Congress for that purpose. By divine coincidence, the Kumasi Province had its Conference in October last year and as such, the diocese delegated three teachers to attend and get first-hand information that could aid in the planning and successful running of the Congress.
